Time: Wednesday, May 5th, 2:30- 4:00 PM

Location: Meet at the front entrance into the Native Flora Garden ( by the wooden gates)

Guide: Ulrich Lorimer, Curator of Native Flora (ulrichlorimer@bbg.org)

 

Highlights will include many spring ephemerals such as trillium, mayapple,and violets.  Indigenous azaleas will also be in bloom including the flame, pinkster and swamp azaleas.  A wide variety of ferns will be emerging as well as aquatics such as golden club and blue flag iris. Tour is FREE with ADMISSION TO BROOKLYN BOTANIC GARDEN
